New Radiator and Trans Cooler
Finally got the radiator and trans cooler installed after a month of part related headaches and heres the result:
Before:
After:
The old radiator was the factory radiator (manufacturing date was stamped 1962) but it had been recored atleast once before i bought the truck and the old trans cooler looked to be a generic after market one and had no way to gauge the age. The new radiator is a universal radiator from JEGS and the trans cooler is a universal one from summit. I reused the e-fan i had on the old radiator. The bracket holding the whole unit i made myself to save money. All said and done the new setup cost less just about the same as the direct fit radiator from NPD.
I still have to clean up the wiring for the e-fan i wanted to make sure everything worked before i finished them
