You want a 28 oz imbalance flexplate with a 78 302.

But is it a 302? 1978 Lincoln Versailles was also available with a 351W. The flywheels are not the same.

Is the difference the diameter/tooth count? If so, using the C6 trans he will very likely need the larger, 164 tooth flexplate, no matter if he's got a 302 or a 351. The bolt pattern is the same. It would be good to know the application the trans is from, as that may have a bearing on which flexplate is needed, too.

On a side note, the C6 would not be my choice with a 302, way too much hp/torque loss for that small of an engine, but that's another post for another time. ;-)
