Ross is correct, a couple of carbs could perk up the six, especially if you split the exhaust manifold. Be warned, the aftermarket manifolds are worth some money. I don't believe new ones are available due to the very limited market. You could check the Hamb site for any, and of course the auction site.

Or as stated, build one and use a couple of factory 7HA carbs, or the 1904 Holleys.

Just want to tell you how much I enjoyed watching your videos. You and your wife brought a smile to my face which is much needed for me right now. I'm going to share the videos with my wife to show her how much fun we'll have one of these days when the truck is on the road. She's not much for the old iron but she has expressed interest in my 48. So I'll keep slowly working on her. Thanks for the help!

Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.

I couldn't tell from the vid if you have a 46 flathead six "G" series engine or the "H" series flathead six that was correct from 48 thru 51.

Very sharp truck, enjoy every mile ( or km )!!

If I ever referred to my wife as "the old girl" I think I'd probably have to sleep in my truck for a while!
