I'm not sure if the local shop even has a website, plus I did that good on a different wheel and it was local pick up. But I can try to find it for you.

Might want to try your local places

You have a point, been meaning to do that. Just crazy busy. There is a place that has straightened the wheels on my current desert truck (like 5-6 times LOL) They probably have em. It's just frustrating to go on classifieds and see several sets of 5 on 5.5 for cheap but no 8 lug.

Haha, this thread has been hijacked by the OP, it's now a wheels thread.

Here's my build thread:

Nope,, not gonna get a D60 w/5 on 5 1/2,,, I have seen spacers,,, they go from 8 lug to 5 lug,, but it adds about 1" to 1 1/2" I think,, so you can adjust that by offset,, but why not just buy some Mickey Thompson Classic II's in 16x10 in 8 lug,, gonna be better all around in the long run,,,

MY BAD,my bad,,,, I was thinkin about this later,,, they were 6 lug to 5 lug,, not 8 to 5,, just wanted to clear that up.

because I'm stubborn and don't want to spend the money on new, was hoping to convert cheap then buy used.

I will bite the bullet soon though, it's time for some wheels, gotta set up the front end and don't want to stick out too far past my new fiberglass fenders. Need the wheels that will ultimately be used for mach up.

Is a corp 14 like a 14bolt Gm rear end? I've heard that they're strong too.

I was hoping there was an interchange so I could go to a pick n pull and grab a pair of hubs for like $20, then grab some used wheels for like $150ish or whatever. $400 would be my max, I just gotta get off my azz and order some I guess
Grow the thread huh? Share the wealth???? I guess I'm all for that. See the bottom of this post

As for corp 14 bring the GM 14 bolt - yup - same deal different name. It's a STRONG axle that is dirt cheap most times. I got my last one for free & see them for $100 or so. Just make sure you get the full float version.

For that last part about cheap/easy - I wish! By the way - I think Cone makes a 5 lug hub for these from the 8 Class 8 days but I'm sure you know his stuff ain't cheap!

I just want to be able to upgrade in the future without having to always buy new rims.
Why do you need a 10" wide wheel? I run all my 315/75r16 on the alcoa 16x8 wheels.

Ok - it's share the wealth/knowledge time!

all good, but 4th post from bottom talks about machining stock hubs for 5x5.5! Dana 60 Vs 14b ff AGAIN [Archive] - Off-Road Racing Forum - race-dezert.com

4130 corp 14 snouts from Ballistic
http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/...Mo_p_1697.html
Ruff Stuff has 14b snouts as well (he says stronger) - $8 cheaper than ballistic.

corp 14 aluminum hubs - ballistic (8 lug!)
http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/...bs_p_1695.html

corp 14 5x5.5 hubs - makes track width 2.25" NARROWER than stock though!
Pair of Forged 5 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern 14 Bolt Wheel Hubs - Wheel Hubs - Spyntec Industries LLC.

pirate thread for corp 14 - 5x5.5 hubs
New 8 Lug Wheel Hubs (8 on 6.5) - Page 4 - Pirate4x4.Com Bulletin Board

Geartech HD 5x5.5 lug hubs. Keep stock trackwidth. Hub OD for center = 4.125". Rotors used = Chevy 3/4 ton "light duty" front - need to bore the center.
Hub kit = $895 or $1250 with brakes (eldorado calipers, etc.)

Pirate thread telling all about 14b
Pirate4x4.Com - Extreme Four Wheel Drive

Center Bore 5 spoke alcoas = +/-4.25"
8 hole alcoas = +/- 3.25"

corp 14 hub can be machined to maybe 4.175"?
