SuperCab owners, does the back seat-backrest flip down?
Tried to clean my back window the other day and could not get my hand behind the rear seats massive headrests. I tried to raise the headrests but they only move up 1-2" but still make it impossible to clean the glass. My question does that rear backrest actually flip-down? I can't find a lever for it anyplace in the back of the cab. I know it does on the full crew cab, but it doesn't look like it does on the Super Cab.

You would have to unbolt the seat backs from the bottom and remove them completely, they will not just simply fold up and down. I removed the headrests from the back seats since I do not carry people back there. The middle one is easy to remove but the side ones you need to lift up and pull forward at the same time, it will work. I have not tried to replace them but have heard it is not easy to replace them without unbolting the seat back.

The rear seat backs in the supercab do fold down, sort of. I just went through this this past weekend to put seat covers on.
Do a google search of seatback removal and there are a few good illustrations on how to remove the seatback. Basically, if you have strong thumbs, on the inside portion of the outer child seat anchor points (located between the upper and lower seats), there are plastic retainer clips that need to be released, and the seatback slides Up then will come forward.
The you really have to jam your hand in there and rotate your thumb up to find the latch.
First latch took about 10 minutes to figure out, the second about ten seconds.
Seriously....the latches are there, just a pita to find.
By the way, I strung a series of words together that would have made Sam Kinneson blush..these are not very intuitive latches.

Got mine to fold down. just to the side of the head rest you will feel the bracket. insert your finger feel for the spring and push up and towards the front of truck. it will release the latch. passenger side was harder than drivers. attached a length of tie strap and cut it flush to the backrest to allow for ease later.

This is about the 3rd time I have seen a post about removing rear headrest and/or the back of the seat of a SUPER CAB and nearly everytime a supercrew somehow gets mixed into the discussion. I too am looking to remove the rear headrest on a SUPERCAB and the rear seatback also. Can the previous posters of this thread clarify what applies to a SUPERCAB.
Thanks, Oldstuff

Make sure you push the clip toward the rear if the truck.
