Hey Racin...We will be heading south about the same time... I will be running down a trailer load of stuff to a rental house in Prescott AZ. Then coming back empty to get the MH with my racecar trailer and pull my two horses' down with my F 150 Moving south for the weather.

Are you stopping in Vegas? Are you bringing the truck?

Either way, let me know. I'll buy the first round.

Well when it gets closer I will know more but it looks like my last day of work will be the 22nd of November then I will leave for the first run down to AZ a few days later when I have loaded all my wife's crap on the trailer. I have done all the route's to AZ from here over the years so we will be burning fuel over the same Blacktop somewhere along the way... I'm welding up the cut to bits pipe into a new configuration but I need a drivers side manifold to finish the job...You got one layin around?

I will be, we usually spend 3 days in vegas, but due to the nature of the trip, its only going to be one night...

Either way, its Vegas, so anything goes ....

I was waiting til I was done, but that wont be til probably tomorrow....

Here is some pics of the Rod Sleeves... I am done with about 5-1/2 of them... I am a pretty good machinist, but when I have to cut away 75% of the stock to get my part, its a little tedious... That's all I could find material wise though... So far I am in it an hour per sleeve... uke:

Anyway, progress...

Thanks man...

As far as machine work goes.... Nothing to worry about, don't be afraid to screw up a few parts on the way, and it becomes easy....

Just the sleeve, bushing will go in over it...

Only reason I did it this way was because my machinist wasn't sure it was idea, and I was impartial... So I did it this way... I don't think there would be a prob with bearing bronze, and I originally planned on bushings out of my chuck of aluminum-bronze I have in my stock, but this was the safe way out....
