Those valve covers have never been off my truck she's at 289k now ...I bought this truck cheap.it sat around for a long time and had a rough life so I'm gonna start with that stuff and toss some new gps in this weekend to see if that clears up..also noticed a newer looking fuel pump with some fuel in the valley..smh looks like autozone did it again..damn airtex trash

The main reason I went to e fuel lol. Also double check the torque on the rockers and injectors. Since your in there it may be worth doing injector o rings since you'll have the valve covers off.

torque specs on the above items to check please and thanks ...yea I got the orings here today som I'm gonna go all out this weekend

120 in/lbs for the injectors anyway

No they are hydraulic ill have to look the torque specs up tommorow. At work at the moment.

Just to be a thorn in someones side......

I've heard 1st called creeper gear before also. Along with many other terms... all used interchangeably

Either way, I'm interested to see this get concluded.

I've heard first in 4 Low called a creeper gear. Normally, though, I hear the underdrive gear referred to as the "Granny Low" gear. The first gear on a ZF isn't an underdrive, though.

I have 4.10's, its pretty close to granny in my truck lol. But my 82 Dodge W350 with a 4spd is lower.

Dont forget to update on the problem as Im curious to.

My daughter uses the term "creeper" to describe creepy guys.
