1988 F-150 PU starting problem

Hi all...Have a question...I have a 1988 F-150 pickup 4.9 straight six with the manual transmission. Is there an adjustment on the clutch pedal for the neutral safty switch? If I depress on the clutch pedal several times, I can get the truck to start. any help would be much appreciated.

The switch itself should be adjustable. It is similar to the brake light switch, and should be by the top of the clutch pedal. It could be a bad switch, just sticking inside.

thanks for the input. clutch safety switch connector had become disconnected. Re-connected, working ok. Thanks....
