November 1 and we're still in the October thread...
Made it across the pond in 11hrs of flight and many hours waiting in airports. Took the train to Paris, showered and ready to go after a sleepless night - too many movies to catch up on.
Been mercilessly using my Frenglish on folk here, normally they just switch to American, but I continue to slaughter that fine language.
Of course it's a holiday here Nov 1 (any reason for a holiday c'est fantasique), so not too much traffic, nor crowds.

Halloween was ok, considering I received a upsetting phone call while we were getting ready. One of our adopted into the family members passed away lastnight. She was like a grandma to my kids & always treated me like her daughter. We'll miss her, but she lived a full life & it was her time to be with her husband. After I cried my eyes out, I set my mind to work on making Halloween as good as possible. Pics are in my album on my profile page. I'm not the sexy nurse you thought I'd be though...
Well, I'm going back to bed & hope that my 102 fever breaks. I hate being sick!
