Now that funny, don't make it look like I am trying to get him to give you his motor for your "other" rig.
Next thing you will be asking for is one of my cheeto bag tearing (lol) 460 BB I have setting around in case he will not part with his.

Or REALLY different and shoehorn a WW2 era Rolls Royce Merlin V12 in it
Merlin V12 Powered 1955 Chevy - YouTube
Now that would make one heck of a mudder (the engine not the chevy)

today i got some steel tube and bent it into a core support, got some scrap steel that i think will work to box in the frame, welded up the rear shackle hangers and tomorrow im going to cut out the front spring hangers, then hopefully get the chevy springs mounted up next week.

That glowing stainless header looks like some deep sea squid. Exhaust temps that high would scare me.

That's not a fair fight. If that was a real 427 Cobra, the Viper never stood a chance. Power to weight ratio is WAY off between the two cars.
...and a 351 or 400M is NOT a 427.
Kinda like saying put a 318 in your '69 Charger because a street hemi can wup a big block Chevy. It's apples and meatballs.
Honest, I didn't mean that to be as sarcastic as it must've seemed. ...just sayin'.
