Has anyone ever installed an overhead console in a truck that wasn't originally equipped with one? If so, how'd you do it? where or how did you mount it?

Buy the console and pop it in. You will also need the wiring harness for the console, but the other end should already be there to. I think the only thing you need to do is cut the headliner. Headliners with factor installed overhead consoles have fancy dancy stitching or seams or something around the overhead console
