Well called tonight and they offered $144.00 for 1 year for Sirius and $175.00 to renew my Travel Link / Traffic for 2 years.

I told them to keep it as I was retired (not really) and don't travel much anyway. She checked with a manager and the Sirius for 1 year was all of a sudden $79.44 (71.70 + taxes + fees) and no deals on the Travel Link.

I told them to keep the whole thing as it was ALL or NOTHING.

I was switched to to another person and I got the whole 1 year renewal for $139.81 with taxes and fees. I agreed as long as I was NOT setup for automatic renewal. No problem....I was changed over to "send invoice" but was able to make a one-time payment that was not stored. I checked the website and it all checks out and I am a satisfied customer for another year.

I travel too much not to have this package and not worry about other gadgets for prying eyes to look over.

I looked at that 6 month deal but they said it had to be set up to rebilled on my credit card automatically at the then regular price.

I didn't want to hassle with this auto rebill every 6 months. So I just agreed to renew for $77/yr and they mail me an invoice I pay with a mailed check.

WOO HOO! They gave me 6mo for 29.95!
So $5 bucks a month is not bad...will call them just before expiry & see what happens!

My subscription just ended last Friday, so far one call and two mailed advertisements to renew for full price. On the phone they were not interested in dropping the price so I told them i'm not interested in renewing.

We got the same offer in the mail and still passed. My truck doesn't have a sat radio yet and I'm not paying for my daughter's car anymore as she doesn't use the sat radio.

4.95 six months

I too tried to get a better deal. Mine was set to expire at the beginning of April. I called the 888 number and told them I was not satisfied and that 14.95 a month was robbery and that I didn't listen to talk radio. I offered them 6 bucks a month and they said no. Asked about purchasing an all music. They countered that at something like 12 bucks a month. At that point I said no way and told them I'd let the it expire and to have a nice day. About a week went buy, just a couple of days before mine expired and they called back to say they give me the premium xm for 4.95 a month for 6 months. Tried to get a year but they said no. For now I accepted. Better than a kick in the pants. K
