WTB:Dip Stick Tube 92 460 / 7.5L
#2
If your screws into the pan like mine does, (its a few years older center sump pan) I used 3/8 steel fuel line with a ferrule where it enters the pan and bent it to fit, sealed up nice too.. I had to make a dipstick also but it was a lot easier than finding a reasonable priced dipstick and tube for one of these.
Its an idea if you cannot find one anyway

Applications: 1989 F150/350, F(Super Duty) & Bronco 351W / 1990/93 F150/350, F(SuperDuty) & Bronco 351W & 460 / Note: 1993 before 5/28/1993.
FORD PARTS ONLY in Bayamon Puerto Rico has ONE = 787-786-9180.
No other Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
EDIT: See post #5 for the engine oil dipstick tube.

But he didn't say, so I looked the puppy up for the trans.
F1TZ-6754-A .. 460 Engine Oil Dipstick Tube / Available from Ford
MSRP: $93.28 (yikes!) // FTE sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM price: $67.16.
Applications: 1991 F250/350 & F(Super Duty) from 1/2/1991 / 1992/93 F250/350 & F(SuperDuty).
The major problemo here on FTE is...peeps don't list enough info, and...
Some don't list one single shred of evidence of what the hell they're working on, when asking for parts, mechanical advice or whatever.
Must think we're all mindreaders.

I could have been wrong too but I know what you mean! Thats quite a price for a dipstick and tube! About the same as John Deere wants for and adjusting bolt for and older pto clutch.. Must be in cahoots! You have helped me out before and I thank you again for that! I'm glad you come around! Thank you

has anyone ever thought of making one? I have some good flaring tools and some good old fashioned "can do" attitude. Thinking of making mine out of brake line from the local parts place.
