Anyone know a place or want to do
Some repairs for me?
My motor or regulator stopped working in my drivers side window. I took off the inside of the door and looked at it and groaned. I remember my tailgate and don't feel like going through that again in a smaller area.
If anyone is close to Louisville or knows a place that'll do it for cheap can ya let me know? My truck is an '86 Bronco
I took it to a local repair shop today to have the axel looked at (Hose busted off and leaked axel fluid allover) and asked about the door. They want $75 JUST TO TAKE THE DOOR PANEL OFF AND LOOK AT IT!
I laughed and said "I can take the door panel off in 5 minutes"

Dass:
Sorry I cannot volunteer for the project, but... I recently went through this with my "other" truck and it wasn't all that bad. A unit from JC Whitney set me back $75, a few pages copied from a service manual on "how to replace the window motor" at the library and it took all of a couple of hours. I sure hate making a $300 deposit at the dealership for anything that they fix! i know of a few folks that have had this type of work done for less at some auto interior shops as well. I have a buddy who bought into one up on the North end of town, I'll dig up the number.
