Battery goes dead afte 1 week

No hood lite, disconnected the neg. bat. cable hooked the test leads one to cable one to bat neg on a 0-10 amp scale on a crafsmen multi meter. The wiring diagram shows lt grn-yel coming from #8 fuse going to a junction point to Engine comp.LT (none)-psom I have pulled connector no change-radio Pulled connector No change-glove box LT no change-right door sw it works ok. Another connection to map LT inside cargo lt(is this the light outside the cab?-power mirror sw ( no power mirrors)-left door switch works light ok- one wire going to the light switch for turning the courtesy lights on. All interior lights seem to work fine. I would like to find the connector that go to the out going circuits from the junction points . Also with the key in the run position and the #8 fuse out you have all the lights and chims. Both fuse contacks in the fuse block is hot with the key on and fuse out. Is this normal? Or is there somthing feeding the circuit when it is not suppose too. Thanks Jim(jr37)

I'm thinking that somewhere I have a bear wire and it is in contact withe #8 wire and is feeding the circuit. I didnot want to take the dash apart to trace the wires. You can't see anything from the bottom or with the instrament ,radio out. thank for the replay

Had the same problem, was getting a slight draw from the turn signals all the time. Used to pull the fuse if the truck sat for over a week.
Bought a new signal fuse, but havent let the truck sit for a week yet.
