Harley Davidson 4X4 F-150 (general question, not repair related)
Hello, I was wondering if anybody knew if there was such a thing as a Harley Davidson edition of the F-150 that was offered in a 4WD trim in the 1997-2003 generation. I saw a nice white F-150, probably aroung a '99 or '00 maybe as new as '03, I mean it was the 97-2003 gen F-150, but it was 4X4 and had a bunch of Harley emblems and decals and it looked factory not aftermarket, and I know of the Harley version in '02 and '03 with the 340 horse 5.4 V-8, but its just a 2WD trim, but this truck looked exactly like the typical Harley truck, but it was a 4WD truck, does anybody know of any 4WD version of the Harley pickup in the 97-2003 generation? the Harley pickups are nice, I just see it as purpose-defeating for Ford to have two hi-po F-150's with neither having a 4WD trim.
Thank you
Thank you

that's what I was afraid of, kind of pointless of Ford to build two performance editions of the F-150, and have none available in 4WD. Of Course the newer F-150 Harley trucks have optional 4WD. The King Ranch is a nice upgrade for the F-150, and of course, didn't come with the supercharged 5.4, I was also wondering how quick the '03 260 horsepower 5.4 was in the F-150 4WD?

I'd say 15.5 in 1/4. I have a 2002 f 150 5.4 with 260hp and It feels about mid 15's in 1/4. It had 373 gears at that time.
I just added a lightning supercharger to my truck. Its basically a 4x4 lightning that I feel Ford should have built back then.
I call it a Tornado. I even added custom decals for the factory look although it was not a factory option.

those supercharged 5.4's are monsters from what I've heard, too bad the 97-03 F-150's never had them with 4WD. What can a 260 horse 5.4 do 0-60 in? I consider anything under 9 secs decent. Tornado is a cool name for a trim name. do you have pics of your truck? the last Ford truck I owned was a '96 half ton with the 5.0 and on the fly 4WD, I bought it from this idiot who took out the stock exhaust, the cats, and the O2 sensors, because the headers he bought weren't compatible with the '96 5.0, the truck ran in limp mode, bogged the 5.0 down, because the idiot didn't want to do the exhaust right, the performance was worse, fuel burned lean.
