Looking for Headers

All,

I just purchased a 1955 F-100 with a 429 Ford and C6 automatic. I am looking for a set up headers that will work on this combination. If anyone has brand/part number that would be great. Just in case is also has a Mustang front end under it already, if that is needed to know for clearance issues.

Thanks,
Pat

Is this for show, or? I have a set of shorty 460/429 headers I took off the 460 I got a long while back. they were chrome.

I don't know if they will clear the steering linkage on the MII..

I'll post a pic

Right now it is another toy. Eventually I may show it, but more for me to have fun with.

here are a couple pics..

the key measurements on the driver side

on the rear pipe, from flange face at the head to the furthest distance away from the face, 5 inches.
face to the nearest part of the collector, 1.5 inches.
from the center of the rear bolt, to the lowest edge, 8 inches.

the rear pipe comes straight down.

no idea what they were originally for..
my engine came out of a 69 mustang fastback
