Clicking/ticking/rattling transmission

I have an '05 EB 2WD Expedition. Family and I recently went on a trip to Vegas where the temperatures were hovering in the low 100*s. When the truck was fully warmed up and the temperature outside was hot, I can hear a clicking/ticking/rattling noise coming from the transmission just off idle in gear. The noise goes away at idle or 1000+RPM. The truck shifts fine, doesn't overheat, fluid level is good, changed the fluid ~10k miles ago when I bought the truck (now has ~81k), and the noise isn't audible with all the windows rolled up (but it drives me nuts when in a parking garage ).

I've done a bit of research and the only thing I've been able to find is a TSB on older 4R70W transmissions. It calls for an anti-rattle clip to be installed behind the front pump. I'd like to think that by the time '05 MY vehicles using a 4R70W transmission came out that they would already have the anti-rattle clip installed or have some other revision correcting the issue. I'd hate to drop the transmission and pull the front pump only to find the clip already there.

Anyone ever have a similar issue?

I had a similar problem the tickish like noise was driving me crazy it was a cam speed and sounded like it was in the starter tranny area. The noise was audible if you far or close to the truck and seemed like you could hear it from the passenger wheel well too. After driving it for a bit, maybe 200-300 miles or so the tick got louder and then the car would bog down at 3000 rpm. Turned out a rocker was bad, but I got really lucky as the needle bearing that fell out got stuck on the ledge of the head, while the rocker was hammered the cam had no damage.
