Smile srsparky32's 1994 Ford F-150 "Charlotte" Worklog

Well ive done enough to the F-150 to warrant a worklog. just small things but still!

as an comparison, here is the F-150 "before"

First things first, since its running beautifully under the hood is to fix the outside. Side mirrors had years and years of sun fade.

all prepped up and ready to spray

the end result!

First major overhaul of the exterior. getting rid of that nasty gray grille! i spent about a hour or so sanding and prepping it for paint.

the last time you'll see a gray grille on Charlotte!

all ready for painting!

and, the end result!

UPDATE. hub locks painted black and bumper lip painted black. also winterized underbody with rustoleum undercoating spray after seeing a horror thread started by a member a few days ago about his road salt disaster

Looks good! I plan on swapping my chrome grille out for a black set-up like yours is now. I like that blue, too.

good idea! black>chrome IMO. never did like the XLT trucks, a little too much chrome for me.
