Clutch pedal goes to the floor!
My clutch pedal goes to the floor on my '88 F250 4.9, probably the slave cylinder because there is oil on the floor below. how do I replace it?

Disconnect the tranny and driveshaft, then scoot tranny back. The slave will be right there. I'd also replace the hydraulic line while you're at it.
The above is for the M5ODR2 tranny...which I'm assuming is what you've got.

If you got a 4 speed w/o overdrive (granny first). The slave cylinder will be on the outside, drivers side of the trans. Easy fix.

What do you mean by "oil on the floor below"? As already mentioned is this a 4 speed or a 5 speed trans?
