hey guys. just wanted to update everyone. the ford dealer put on yet another alternator. they said the ones i put on it did not put out enough amperage. so for future reference always buy a alternator from ford not napa brand.

Better yet - buy a DC Power alternator

my 190 amp DC Power been good so far


and out of curiosity what Amp is a stock Motocraft Alt [135amp????}guess

110A standard.
Upgrade to 140A is available.

I never knew that

when I bought the first alternator threw Ford I would have Gladly paid for 140A upgrade if they would have said something about it
I didnt know about FTE at the time either Live and learn I guess
