Seeking advice for replacing a truck bed

Hello, I recently bought a 2001 f250 XL superduty. It comes without a bed, I have found a used long box bed for it.
Does anyone have any advice for size, type of bolts etc. How much I can expect the bed to weigh.

I am planning on mounting the bed on site from the guy I am buying it from. Should myself and one other person be able to lift it onto the frame?

I am not paying Ford outrageous money for bolts so just going with carriage bolts- but would be helpful if anyone has more specifics, such as do I need washers and what size, and what length for the bolts.

Thank-you to anyone who has the answers! I appreciate your time and consideration.

The bed will weigh in excess of 400lbs. So you will need some help.

You will want to order bolts. I found these on eBay. They come with the bolts and blind nuts. If these have sold you can just do a search for super duty bed bolts.

One person and two harbor freight engine hoists can lift the bed just fine.

Ford bolts are expensive. Supposedly they are torque-to-yield, though I readily admit I don't know why.

Please don't use carriage bolts they do not have the required strength to secure the bed in the event of an accident and could end up causing unnessecary injury to a third party is that worth the money you would save by cheeping out?
