WTB: Stock tow mirrors

Anyone have any tow mirrors sitting around they would like to get rid of?

Im not sure the price range you are looking for but here is something I'm considering.

Discount Auto Mirrors - 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Scroll down to the 2008 mirror. or change your year and look for the ones you want.

Was hoping I could the take-offs from someone who has done this upgrade. Don't want to spend that much on mirrors. Thanks though.

Thanks for the link.... I've seen some really poor quality in aftermarket mirrors. Do you know if these specific ones just as good as OEM?

can not confim that, bud. If anything, check around c-list for them or trucks being parted out.

Yea, I've been searching clist for awhile now.

Anyone have any first hand experience with these aftermarket mirrors?

When you say tow mirrors, do you mean the telescoping dual mirror set up? If so, you can get them through the aftermarket companies. I got a set, and they are actually pretty much as good as factory. Can't remember which company i got them from, but can find out tomorrow. Less than half the price of factory

Yup... those are the ones I am looking for.

I am leery of buying aftermarket without specific recommendations... there is a lot of low quality crap out there.

Any idea what model/brand you went with?

I was also hoping to pay less than the aftermarket cost if someone had old OEM mirrors collecting dust. I know a lot of people have upgraded to the 2008 style mirrors.

Thanks!

I've heard pretty good things about the Kool-Vue but I have no personal experience with them.

OEM is where it's at! Aftermarket is not very good for parts like mirrors, headlights, taillights etc
