That may be mine someday. Already planning on a built motor and more boost. Awesome pics. How many rpms when she let go. Whats the highest rpm's you have ever turned it?

she let go at 4500 and i had redlined the truck at 5425. apparently these engines dont turn very well lol.

never been a fan of ford engines even less now.

Hmm...wonder what hapened then? The stock rods are rated at 400hp @ 6000rpms.

So no reason for it letting go?? What kind of mileage did you have on it at the ime of the carnage?? Makes me worry about my 2007, but I still have warranty on my engine and tranny I think.

I wouldn't worry to much. Failures are rare. With a millon or more of these on the road theres bound to be a few let go. I'm running 9.5 psi of boost. I know of many running 12psi. All on stock internals.

I think a sham wow and some simple green will make that good as new..
