Leveling kits, good or bad?

Hey all, I am new to this site and would like any and all replys to my question. I have an 06 F350 crew cab dually with the 6.0 PSD. I am considering installing(having installed) a 2.5 leveling kit. Any feedback would be great as the lift, tires, and possibly wheels arent cheap. If anyone has pics of a similar rig with the level kit installed that would be great to help me decide on looks. Thanks to all.

I know a couple of people that have 350 super cab single wheel trucks with a 2.5 leveling kit in the front and they look dang good. IIRC both are running 34 or 35" tires and they look tough.

I have a leveling kit on my 04 F350. I just like the looks better than nose down. I also installed airbags on the rear so when I tow my toy hauler the rear end does not squat.

I also think they look better. I was debating the air bags as well but I don't think my travel trailer weighs as much as a toy hauler..lol.

I have one on my 08 and I think it looks great. My truck has the 20's on it and even with the tube steps its still quite a jump to get in. Overall I like it though.

I had a 4 " lift on an old 96 f150 I use to have and I loved the look so now that my warranty is gone I wanted to bring this one up but then all the ford haters start putting their 2 cents in and you start second guessing. I appreciate the feedback

I wanted that 4-link setup so bad but it's just beyond my means. It would be cool to drag a big 5th wheel to the drag strip, drop it, and hit the lanes. I wonder how it would do instead of traction bars?

Not sure but it looks as sturdy as it is spendy. I would think it would handle just about anything

Here are pics of my old '05 with 2.5" Bilstein leveling coils, no lift on the rear axle, 35" Toyo MT's on 17x9 wheels:

That is a sweet looking ride. To me they look better that way than stock. Tougher too

I got a question for you guys with leveling kits. How to you center your front axle when you are done? I was going to install a sinister leveling kit on my 05 but it looked like, without a new track bar, the front axle would move over to one side a little. I talked with sinister about it and they said yes it will move some. I asked about a longer track bar to offset that and they said... why... its not a big deal..... What are you guys doing? It just bugs me when things don't line up perfect.

If you do it, do your self a favor and go with a coil replacement.

2"

Just cover up the stuff behind the front door handles, and it'll look like your truck
