Question How to use Edge Insight for ICP?

My Insight CTS reads ICP Voltage, I also have Injector Pulse Width in milliseconds, FICM voltage in volts and battery voltage in volts.

The FICM slowly bounces around between 47.5 - 48.0 - 48.5.

The battery starts out around 12.5v when starting and glow plugs are going then climbs up about 13.8 - 14.1 when driving.

The ICP voltage bounces from 1.1 to 1.2 at start up and climbs when I'm on the accelerator or going up hills.

The IPW bounces around between 1.25 - 1.34 just after cranking the engine, and also hops around when driving ... maybe up to 1.76 at times I think. This one flashes numbers pretty quickly.

Anyone know how to translate all that info into whether or not the ICP and injectors and high pressure oil system is all OK?
What should I be looking for, or is there not enough data there to really conclude or infer anything?

Thanks!

to check the HPO systemfor a leak you need both the ICP and IPR readings taken together

heres the only chart that I know of to translate ICPV to actual pressure

Colm, you heard anything about Edge supporting ICP/IPR% yet? Or did you figure out more about the volt reading and IPW?

I've heard nothing yet Bryan. I even updated my Insight again last week, just to make sure I don't miss out on any updates. No changes noticed.

Have a read of the middle of this thread, post #22 on powerstroke.org. Interesting observations by Nylyon.

I did get a Scangauge II recently, just as a backup, and also to get familiar with it. I see a lot of guys turning to it to help with the ICP/IPR stuff that the Edge can't provide.

Currently I'm working on a homemade bracket to install the CTS up above the mirror. I'll post pics when I have it ready. The overhead mount that they have for the Attitude that you then have to pad with foam and then add the CTS adapter too, was too bulky. Hopefully my idea will work.

Thanks for the link. Any idea why Edge can't program some PIDs into their shiz so we don't have to buy SCIIs?
