2006 E350 6.0L.
Just before we left for the Mexican 1000 Rally.
Van performed GREAT!
Even has it's own Facebook Page.

Came with power windows and locks.
Added:
- cruise
- slider with a window
- 2nd row bench
- 2" lift (rear is airbags, I will be replacing with spacers)
- insulation on the interior
- Maxx Air vent (nice when hauling motos)
- wheel chocks for motos

Nightly service to the bike on the streets of Loreto.

La Paz

On the way back, camped on the Sea of Cortez one night.

Future Plans:
I have 4 solar panels. Mounting the panels on a alum. roof rack.
2 Deep cycle batteries with inverter.
Installing a portable fridge.

I was asked to be at the Overland Expo in Flagstaff AZ next weekend to talk about the race and the whole setup.

Wow Cvestal----that's one great looking campsite, Sea of Cortex!

Your added cruise control---factory or an aftermarket unit?

Meet Clifford. She has a 460, C6, Dana 44, brown leatherette interior, front and rear climate control, 15 passenger seating, electric fan conversion, and clean as a whistle. It takes my band everywhere without complaining. She's thirsty though. Around 11 hwy and 10 pulling a 6x10.

Hey Dustin-----just a minor, minor suggestion: edit Clifford's photo to obscure the license plate number----never know what mischief others are up to or capable of doing with that sort of info!

I'd never considered this myself when posting vehicle photos until noticing many others do this regularly--it just seems prudent.

Nice looking van BTW!

X2 on covering license plates. Any pic I post, I blur my plates. Not that I don't trust you guys on here, but some low lifes do nothing all day but browse forums like this looking for personal info.....

And is that D44 a TTB or a solid axle? It could be the old solid D44 from the 70's.

It's a solid D44, yet a ton van is heavy, the only difference from the 1/2 D44 and 3/4, 1 ton is the rotors, everything else is the same, the off road guys used to swap the outers to run 8 lug wheels, matching them to the full floater they put in the rear, floating axles were in high demand.

My 3 crusty buckets.

96 E250 5.8L/E4OD - Current daily driver/tow vehicle.

89 E350 extended Clubwagon 5.8L/C6 ( Soon to be NP435 4spd manual ) . This is the 96's replacement. This is going to be my new work /tow vehicle. I hate towing with an automatic!

88 E150 cargo van 4.9L/5spd manual - Donor vehicle for manual transmission swap parts.

Yea the grany low will let me run the 3.54 rear gears for good highway use but still have enough gearing to get any load I can haul/tow moving with no problem. Plus it works great for stop and go traffic.
