We have a 1996 F250 and I replaced the radius arm bushings a few weeks ago. It was having the all to well known radius arm clunk on the floor board, I replaced the bushings with poly bushings and it still has the dreaded clunk!
Ideas?
Did you get the bushings in the right way, and are they tight? I did my first set years ago and didnt get them all the way tight and ruined the new set in a week.
One thing you can check is the transmission mount, mine banged and I swore it was down the right side of the truck, the last time I did bushings, brackets and still had the pop,one bushing was smaller than the black spacer and banged, hope one of these two ideas help

I can feel it on the floor board on both sides, I replaced both radius arm bushings. I did also replace the coil springs with MOOG 844’s for the big block trucks (I have a 351)and they are quite a rough ride and I still need to replace the shocks. I wonder if the ride is just to harsh for the bushing and making it knock?
I will be replacing the Moog springs with rough country leveling springs this weekend, that should soften up the ride. I will also be installing rancho shocks.
to find mine,I laid under the truck and had someone bounce the truck up and down, with a hand one the radius arm,you can feel if there is movement, then I heard tran mount making noise,I beleive the reason I could hear on right side is cause I`m sitting on left side, everything sounded way different underneath and was easier to find clunk and pop
