Need quick anser - Thread on FTE says to torgue while on ground, not jacks
In this thread, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/810325-rear-wheel-hub-nut-socket.html
There is a note to torque the axle nuts AND lugs while on the ground. Now the lug nuts make total sense, buy why the axle shaft nuts? Is it for safety reasons? Or?
I am at that stage and want to make sure I get it right...
Thanks,
David
PS - I meant to post here, just realized I was not in the IDI forum... the other thread is here and can be deleted: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...re-anyone.html
