Which wire harness should I go with

I'm doing a 302 swap into a 1955 f100 and would like some feed back on which wire harness I should go with. Painless universal looks like it might work, any feed back would be great.

I guess I have more than one question on parts. I'm going with a 302 and a AOD trans, anyone have experience with these steering columns? Is there a better option? Cheaper option? 30" Floor Shift Tilt Column with 2" OD - Paintable Mill Finish - FR20005 - 571 - 5350

I bought a Painless wiring harness last month & just got the $100 rebate. I don't know how long that offer will be out there, but it made the Painless harness pretty much the same cost as the other brands.

Flaming River makes nice hardware. I bought the Ididit brand. I bought all of the steering parts from CPP (Classic Ford Truck Parts-1948-1964 Parts. The Finest in Suspension, Brakes, Steering and Accessories.). They highly recommended the Ididit brand, even though they have their own store brand for less money. Either way, the colum has a GM connector for all of the column mounted stuff like turn signals, horn, emergency flashers & the Harness has the mating connector pre-installed. That will be the easy part of the wiring.

I like the price of that kit. I have a dumb question does it include the wiring for the coil and other engine components?

I haven't even found an engine yet. I'm still looking for a decent 302 near my shop. I'm trying to find one that's running with most of the bolt on stuff so I don't have to buy a bunch of extra stuff.

The quality of the Kit appears wonderful! Obviously so is the price!! It includes all - including provisions for the Safety Neutral Switch - I mean, what more can one ask for, huh? I think you'd like it. Like I said, I have not installed it yet (I'm not there in my project but soon will be) but I can open it and take a photo for you if you are interested.

ImSoQuazy, i want to know how that install goes for ya, when the time comes. I was thinking i would try to build my own, but I think I would be Quazy to even try!
Sometimes the headache of trying isn't worth the trouble, and i would probably come close to the same cost if i buy the wire and such.

I am running factory ford efi so i don't know how that would compare, but if anyone has any insight, I sure would welcome the advice!
