Holy cow... I am actually early starting one of these.
Big week of work ahead of me. Next Sunday I fly out to Hoboken, NJ for work for awhile. Looking forward to it and seeing the NYC. Not looking forward to the heat and humidity, but a paid trip is a good thing.
I just took my truck to the dump with yard waste. Amazing how so much yard waste can fill a truck bed yet barely weigh 200 lbs. They weigh the truck before and after unloading.
Hope everyone is having a good one. Don't forget about the planned get together next Saturday in Port Costa at 10 AM.

Happy August! It's only going to be 92* today, which is good. I'm working hard preping the Vicky for the big auction in Monterey in two weeks.
Also we've been busy shopping for a new car for the wife for the last two months. We've narrowed it down to a choice between a Durango Express or the 1500 Ram Quadcab. Both will be around 22-24K. Does anybody have or know anybody that has either of these vehicles? Jag

Busting my butt getting the Rover ready for a trip to Washington. General service, taking the 33s off and putting on 31s, dropping the lift from 3" down to about 1-1/2 since I;m towing a trailer all the way up, fixing a window and a door latch, and it would be nice if I could get the cruise control working. Not to mention I still need to give it a good cleaning, but that's kinda at the bottom of the list. Supposed to leave in the morning. Too much to do, not enough hours in the day to do it all...
