It is not a tall boy. it is a HIGH BOY. It is a factory lift. 77 was the last year for them and it was a F250 thing ONLY. The frames are narrower than a standard pick up. But if you ask the is question in the 73-79 section, you will get better answers
I used to have a 77 high boy crew cab, One of my long lost friend asked me the other day if I still had the HIGH HORSE...LOL He was mistaken on the name also
High boy is a generic name (Ford never called it that). Since you say it is a 73, if it is a F250, then yes it is a "high boy" the factory lift is about +-4".

Btw: a high boy can be anything from a '62ish-'77.5 F250.
