Sellin the beast...maybe kinda

So, I listed the '79. No bites until today, a guy sends me 2 emails a half hour apart on it. I send him to my friends house, where the truck is, and he crawls all over it. My buddy calls and asks a couple questions, and I find out he is buying it for the front axle. HP D44. Wants to cut it down, run it on his Jeep with 37's.....HA!!! I told him not to waste his time. He is gonna ask his friend, and get back with me. Kinda bittersweet, I dont wanna sell my truck, but it's just sittin there, doing nothing. I am going back to school, so the money could helpful. Plus, I want to buy a road ready truck. We'll see what happens.....

Hello fellow Ford owner. I feel for you on this situation. Just remember if you do sell it, maybe later ,after you graduate from school, you can buy another. Good luck to you.

He will take what he wants and then scrap the rest. There is already to many classic trucks going to the scrapper and we need to save as many as we can!

Just my 2 cents

How little are you selling your truck for that somebody wants to buy it for just the front HP Dana 44 axle?

That is what I was wondering as well. If it is that cheap why now just part it out?

I thought it was just a matter of welding on some tabs and drilling some bolt holes and you could use a highboy bed. BTW, his maybe a 2wd so not a highboy..........
