Can you still order an F150 and when will there be any information on 2012Thanks

PROD LEAD TIME (WKS): 14-16 (A)
PROD RESTRICTIONS:
- Raptor (W1R, X1R) are allocated for retail only
- Lariat Limited package has been built out and is no longer available to order
- Bed Liner (96W, 96P) may increase lead time by 4 weeks or more
- Tuxedo Black (UH) and Red Candy (U6) paints have been built out for the model year and are no longer available to order
- Navigation Radio (58N) has been built out and is no longer available to order. This option will also be unavailable for the 2012 MY
- Super Crew body style may increase lead time by 4 weeks or more
- F-150 Tires (T7E) may increase lead time by 2-4 weeks. Suggested alternatives are T8B and T7B

 

Latest order cut off date for MY11 is August 19th. Just remember though that the longer you wait the greater chance that a option you may want will not be available leaving you with a unbuildable unit.

MY12 ordering information should be available sometime between the middle and end of August.



From what I have seen Ford has not completely eliminated navigation for MY12 although nothing is set in stone either. At this point it is still showing with a Job 1 date of TBD.

T7E tires were supposed to be changed to free demand status as of July 7th and were expected to be good to go through model year balance out. Ford was able to get a supplier commitment to double the number of tires available for production.

I ordered mine on Friday (7/15).
Had to go with Ebony Black as per the supply issue with the tuxedo color.

Salesmen estimated 6 weeks. A knowledgable source here on FTE told me to bet more on 10 weeks given the shipping situations lately. We shall see. I am really excited - never had a truck built for me before.

 

a little off topic, but what are the changes for MY2012? I assume only minor things like color and options.
