Installing 429 in place of 351 modified

Help i am putting a 429 in a 79 F150 4 wheel drive that had a 351 modified. Will the perchs in truck work or will i have to get some for a 429.Do you have to have special plates that bolt to block and then bolt the motor mounts to?I have a set of motor mounts that i bought from parts place for a two wheel drive. But my perchs or saddles have a hole where stud goes through and my mounts do not have stud.Do i have wrong mounts or wrong saddles?Or am i missing a part? Thanks Wes Tanner

The frame perches you have now will work. You just need to get the correct motor mounts. Here try these people they should have what you need http://www.landlproducts.com/aboutus.htm

Hey the motor mount problem is solved.I found out that two wheel drive motor mounts are different. So you cant buy 4 wheel drive mounts at parts place for a 460.But the L& L place was right on the money they had the ones that mount on motor and set right in using the original saddles thanks for the info Wes
