Folks,
Have another technical question.
Are the fenders off a 1948 Ford COE the same as the fenders on the 1948 F-5?
Thanks,
Steve Panzik

I don't think the fenders are the same.
I came across a bunch of rail road markers today.
Threy are nails with numbers on the heads that use to tell what year was the railroad tie installed etc

No, COE fenders are not the same as conventional cab fenders. It has to be a 48-50 F-2 thru F-6 conventional cab. It can be any conventional cab, F-series, bus, etc., etc., but it must be a conventional cab truck.

1948 Ford F-5 Fenders
Folks,
Still looking for both front fenders for the 1948 Ford F-5 Railway Express Truck.
Understand the fenders from a 48,49 or 40 F-2 through F-5 fit.
Does anyone know for sure if the Fenders from an F-6 will work?
Thanks,
Steve Panzik

Are you missing fenders or want to find some in better condition? I have NOS patch panels for the upper fenders where they meet with the running boards for F2-F6 fenders.

Fenders for F-5
Thanks 51 panelman.
Need complete left and right front fenders. Looks like they were mangled by recapps seperating.
