33's fit on a 4x4 without any mods and I think 32's will fit a 2wd. But performance will range somewhere between "sucks" and "sucks real bad" considering how much the 5.0 is smothered in stock form and with the axle ratios these trucks were given. And speaking of gearing there is no one "stock" gear ratio, there were a range of gears available so you'll have to tell us what your truck has. You'll find the info by posting the axle code found on the drivers door pillar.

I would not go bigger than 31 10.50. With any of the stock gears. The 5.0 doesn't make much low end power, so it is not a good match for big tires. I have 3.55 with 31s and its alright, but needs better gears.

I would not run bigger than 32 11.50 on a stock 4wd. 33s often rub the bumper.

I had 33's on my 92 with a 3 inch lift 302 AOD combo with 3.55 gears. Tranny was burnt when i got it built tranny installed 4.88 put 35's on it and it is geared like it should have been from the factory. While it is no race truck it defenitley thanks me for the gear swap when i mash the pedal AND when i put gas in it.

Conanski That is funny. You are 100% correct though

I had 33's, they do rub when turning all the way, unless you lift it.
As Conanski, TexasGuy001 & timboslice said " stock 302's don't have much low end and need gear changes.
I went to 31 /10.5 / 15's and am much happier . Good Luck,,,,,,,,,,, '92
