Ok i know we have another thread like this already but thats for another truck, what im wanting is good off road and on road abilities, i know monroe shocks would fit the bill but i want to have a ride on the front end as if the truck was on clouds, not pavement or off road

any ideas or suggestions, I found one or two but they look like they are only made for newer model trucks and that our trucks (87-96) have no options...

PS: i dont care for air ride as thats too much of a headache to install a tank, compresser and all that mess...im looking for struts/shocks/spring setup...if possible....and no i didn't want to hijack the thread for Clyde, im just looking for opions on what to use on my truck with preferably a stock look

 

I personally would run Bilstein shocks.

 

would they give the cloud 9 feel while off road and on road, I assume the leaf springs will be fine as is? or can i hook shocks to them also?
