America The Beautiful!!!!! (pics)

Had a hectic day today.....needed to unwind a little. So I jumped in the ol' truck and cruised around the back roads near my house. Took a few pics, some thru the windshield.....then stopped by a field of canola and snapped a couple. Life is GOOD!

Post your scenery pics if you have some
Have a fun and safe holiday!

Scott -hat's a nice truck! I learned something new -
I never knew Canola was actually a crop - good pic.
I'm jealous - so far I've owned my 1950 for over a year & I've
never driven it - been undergoing massive reconstruction - Here's to hoping I can get out like you soon!

A view from our hunting shack 8 miles up from me, a view of the road to get there from my driveway (I envision an old truck coming around the bend every time I see this pic), and an owl in my backyard.

Thanks for the pics guys, it's always interesting to see where other people live.....
I seem to take for granted what a beautiful place I live in....

Seems like when I'm driving my old truck, I slow down and enjoy the ride much more....

Time is powerless in our short lives to reveal the subtle changes that occur in nature. Sometimes I just sit outside m truck in amazement at the beauty of the landscape. I have been to every state except Alaska and each has their own marvels. With today’s technology, we can share our own backyards for others to enjoy. What a great country; happy Independence Day to all!

Below is a post about a mile from my home; you can see Cathedral Rock in the background.

Not intended for you E-Dawg, but there is a saying that goes like this:

Feed a man a fish, he will eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish, he will drink.
