muffler/exhaust question

i want to swap out the muffler on my bronco with a 2.25 in 3in out muffler, im haveing a hard time finding one. can a exhaust shop go from a 2.25 to a 3in tailpipe after the muffler?is it even worth doing?

Yes...not a problem....if its for looks, then you can also consider a tail tip that goes from 2.25 to 3"
