CB tuning

does any one not far from the dundalk area know how to tune cb antennas? i can't get mine tuned.

yea i tried the srw meter but the srw is off the charts. i read that could either be a ground plane problem or a short somewhere. idk i need help lol and bud where do u live?

Millersville....in Old Mill. Go thru tunnel....drive south to I-97 - get off Exit 12. Turn left at bottom of ramp - immed right onto Veterans Hwy to 1st red light. Left onto Old Mill Rd - 2nd right onto Brandon, 1st Left to Chalet Dr W..... about 10-12 houses up on left....# 512.

let me know when your going to Bud's, I'll come down too, and stick a radio in my pickup temporary, so you can test it out..


make sure you don't have a bad mike, that will put srw's off the chart.

What radio are you using?

what kind of antennas? did you put the nylon washer in where the antenna goes through the mount?
