I know the Mirror swap has been DONE TO DEATH around here BUT Has anyone successfully put on a set of older Mirrors ( 2005 W/ integrated Turns, Markers and Heat ) into a newer Truck? ( 2008 truck W/ power Telescoping, Fold , Turns, Markers, and Heat ) basically I'm doing a backwards mirror swap for a friend - Long story short - His mirrors are BOTH Damaged Due to his own stupidity, so I figured since I have a spare set form my '05 that are mint and all working ( Aside the fact that they dont have power telescoping and Fold ) he doesn't Care as long as the controls and the heat work - he can deal with it - as long as he doesn't have to pay stupid amounts of money to buy the original mirrors ( Dealership Quoted him something retarded for price )

Any Insight or suggestions on this?

I'm looking for a schematic or the pinouts for the 2008 mirrors W/ Memory
I basically have the 2005 mirrors all Figured out but it's only 7 wires vs the 2008 Mirrors which look like they have signifigantly more wires - any help and links would be greatly appreciated , TIA
