I think I have seen them on one with a sunroof. I looked at mine and the spacing from the windshield to the lights may be different because there isn't as much room. I'll have to investigate further.

Thumbs up

Nice job with the install! Really like the pic with just parking lights on with full front view of SD.

Yeah, that and a video..............

I have seen some trucks with the smoked lenses. They are still pretty bright. I tossed around the idea of getting them but I don't really like the way they look on a white truck.

These are smoked recon with amber bulbs. Funny, I didnt care for the factory amber cab lights so I went to the smoked Recon, but I didnt care for the smoked Recon on the mirror lights. Just looked too dark for me. Also, these are factory and I have a moonroof. Sorry, no daytime photo's. Maybe later when it's safe to go outside.

Great job, Mach. The cab lights is probably one option that I wish my truck had come with. I'm seriously considering having a set put on, but there is no way I'm brave enough to drill into the roof myself. Let me know if you're passing through KS anytime soon and I'll let you do the honors!

Looks great. I'll tell you what, if I found a truck that had everything I wanted except for the cab lights I would do the same thing. I ordered my truck and the waiting is pure hell! Great job guys.

Thanks, y'all! I still have many poeple that think I'm crazy for drilling holes in my truck. Oh well, can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs. This is just a really big omelette!

7/8" Hole saw! That takes gutz bro...I wanted cab lights too..but I cringe at the idea of personally making the roof into swiss cheese! I can already hear the wifey, your gonna do what? Why? .....Cuz they look cool....Think I'd have better luck ordering aftermarket rims....

Good job, that does take guts!

sorry to bump an old thread but thinking about having this done on my truck. If I wanted to have it done by a professional besides the dealer where would it take it? Body shop?

So I ended up doing the cab lights myself. factory parts were ordered online through heller ford. the hard part was the measuring making sure I had my marks where they needed to be. When it came to the drilling I actually didn't really think much of it. the plan was to a bunch of pics of the whole process but I completely forgot until I had the fourth light installed. I was worried long before I started about messing up but i did just fine and saved a ton of money doing it myself. DIY is fun.
