Since we were yakkin in another thread about this I thought I'd put up another more specific to the subject.
The other day we were talking about the old Rat Fink stuff and I visited the site and ordered a t-shirt.
Today I got an email from Ilene Roth thanking me for the order and talking about the recent Rat Fink Reunion (June 4th) and a line or two of her husbands old quotes. I'm thinkin this is probably how she supports herself these days so a shirt here or there may help.
I've been to a couple Rat Fink Reunions, it is a ball. Besides cars and bikes there is lots of '40s '50s and '60s style artists hawking their creations.
Good times.

And not enough time to drive 'em.

You know that since you told us about the shirt you'll now be required to model it for us, right Marc?
Are the reunions held down here, or up in Utah?
Done.
The reunions used to be held here in Chatsworth.
They have since moved to Utah.
I believe they still have an event at Irwindale each year but I don't know the specifics.
It might be part of a larger event.
I'll poke around a bit.

When I was 17 or 18 _summer of 78) I worked at Knott's Berry Farm. There was this funny looking guy with a big stove pipe hat that did custom Painting, and Pin-striping for Knott's. It wasn't until a few months had passed that I found out he Was Ed Roth... well to a 17 year old that didn't mean much, until one day I saw him driving this wild hot rod, and then My buddies and I put 2 and 2 together and realized it was Rat Fink! He had the coolest Tricycle Chopper's too... one was the Road Runner, and the other was Wyle E. Coyote , he and his buddy road them a lot!
