Well im thinking about maybe having the truck repainted this summer. I would keep the two tone with the white on top and bottom but would have the teal green repainted a nice blue color. My fenders are starting to bubble, the tail gate is peeling, the pin stripping is cracked,and the teal just doesnt look good anymore. So im wondering if anyone has any other pics of blue obs trucks or had paint codes for blue obs truck, or maybe the paint code for the blue truck below.

Blake, I don't have any pics, but I love the color of that blue truck!! Of course I like anything resembling a dark ford blue color..

 

It's called "sonic" or "electric" blue.
I forget which one it is.

Best color ever.

Ok i searched them both and it looks like it might be sonic blue, thanks. Yes definetly the best color ever i love that shade of blue and i only found it in Kris's SD fog light thread, even after searching the web for ford blue paint all night.
Ok thanks i appreciate it. Its hard to tell if your blue paint is the same blue paint on the truck i posted. It looks really close.

 

Hey Remind me again on the ID tag in the door what section of numbers is the paint code?

 

It'll say "exterior paint color" on the door sticker and right above that there should be two letters too the far left, and that'll be the paint code.

 

It says Ext Pnt: LE
and some other stuff: WB 133, Brk B, Int TR R6
The last one is interior trim I believe, but I didnt know if the other two had to do with the colors... ANYWAY. there ya go

 

I looked for you as well and mine also reads LE B8 DSO? not sure if that is what you are looking for the rest is in bar code.

 

Alright LE seems to be the color im looking for. I just found this guy on psn and asked him wht his code was and it LE too. Thanks for looking that up.

In the mid nineties dealers around here used to mark up the price on trucks that were that color.

Pete im not suprised that is the best looking paint color ford slapped on our trucks.

Heres what i got off of psn. Can anyone tell me if the other stuff means anything other than the LE. Cause i dont know if there are different shades of the LE paint.
