Snap On MT480 timing meter - got the manual ?
say mates :
Got a MT 480 off eBay - and managed to find a lumi probe for it - manageable price - a few repairs to the wires I will have to do
wonder if anyone might have the booklet for this unit ( a copy or PDF )- or know where I might find such an item
basic instructions are on other sites - but did see a unit for sale with the booklet
thought I would ask about
cheers thanks in advance

i have the manual with mine, but that only goes so far.
everything you need should be here in this thread:

remember without knowing your cetane value using this meter, your just as well off as timing by ear.
example of tool required:

say FORDF250HDXLT:
thanks for the reply & the link - question on Cetane - especially on cross country trips - cetane value will always fluctuate even with additives added upon fill up ? No?
so moteur and truck performance will always NOT be constant even with Bio mixed and some cetane booster
I have timed by ear before and then have had done a few weeks later by dynamic - was off 2 º - pump was new at the time , so since I got the timing unit - might as well give it a go
