Just bought a "new" V10 F250

I have a Raptor. I tow more than I thought I would so I'm selling it. I will MISS it! But, I just picked up a 2008 F-250 FX4 V10 with 70k on it. The V10's all new to me so I guess I'll be busy reading the heck out of this forum. If it were you, what maintenance would you do on it? All the fluids? New plugs? Belts? Any wheel bearing stuff?

I got an awesome deal on it, it's a beautiful truck in pristine condition. I appreciate the advice.

Nice truck, congrats! You'll grow to love the V10 - it is a beast, especially with the 4.30's if you have them. The gears were not mentioned in the ad. Any time I buy used I always go through it and change all the fluids just for peace of mind. Belts you can just twist around and see if they are cracking. I the bearings or ball joints need attention you will know just by driving it.

Congrats
Just picked up my 1st V10 in a 2010 F-250 with 26000 miles and so far I love it,
Give it a test in a month when I haul the daughter and her apartment and car to Grad school in TN, stuffed all in a enclosed car hauler.

Congrats on the new truck I think you will really love it. I would love to have a newer V-10 like that but I don't drive (use) mine enough to justify a payment.

Out with the old, in with the new

I picked it up today. For a snidge under $19k, it's just so much of a bargain. I'll miss the Raptor severely. The V10 does pull with authority. The Raptor's handling and comfort simply can't be beat but the SD is danged nice for such a hoss truck. I might get rid of the cattle guard, it's a bit much!

I wish I could keep 'em both!!!
