Exclamation Need help deciding...

My truck has the original paint but ofcourse it has the normal wear and tear scratches dents paint chips etc. And I want to know if it would be worth more with the beat up original paint or with new paint not the original color. The truck has NO rust on the body except for a quarter size by the back window surface rust.

Are you planning on selling the truck or keeping it for yourself? Either way paint it. It will help get more people to look at it. just my two cents

Well I am selling it just not actively, like it is always for sale and I'm not emotionally attached to it so if a great offer comes up its gone, but it has to be a GREAT offer. I would like to repaint it but the original paint looks amazing from 20 feet away, and I would feel bad taking the original paint off. You dont see the imperfections unless youre up close

I've always liked these old trucks with original paint, even if its faded as long as its not rusty. It will need painted eventually, but if you're not going to do body work is it really worth it? If it still looks good, it still looks good.
