Headliner Clips

I just cut our a new headliner using FRP, and I only have one issue. The back piece, (The one that has the cab light in it) keeps falling. I assume there is some kind of clips that attach it to the top piece. I didn't have a complete headliner in my truck when I got it so I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

On the attached website page is a listing for the clips that you need! Look to the bottom left of the page! The set is part number 61-14440 and the price is $16.00

5) C4TZ-8152140-A .. Headliner Clip / 1961/66 F100/1100 / Obsolete

JST AUTOMOTIVE in Lebanon TN has 5 = 615-443-3086.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 15 = 800-543-4959.

This is the same clip alluded to in post #2, but "as original" it takes 5. Anything more is overkill.

I have seen FRP at Home Depot and Lowes. It is generally thought of as a bathroom wall material. I will post pictures later today of the 3 pieces that I have installed. The forth I will have to wait until I get the clips. One of the guys here is sending me a set he had laying around.

Just for the guys who are looking for a set of patterns, I got a set from one of the guys here, and digitized them. I cleaned them up, so they can be easily emailed, and then printed at anywhere that has a plotter. I did mine at Kinkos. If you would like a set let me know, and I will email them to you.

A couple of guys asked for pictures, so here they are. I don't have the clips yet, so the back panel is not in yet, but this shows the pattern. I plan to cover mine, but I haven't figured out what to cover it with yet. Color choice is the biggest decision I have, and so until I know that it will be white.

Thanks for the pics and info on FRP. I pretty much know about that stuff. Brain just didn't click on what it was. Be interesting to get feed-back from you later down the road, on how that material holds up between summer heat and winter cold. I know that stuff cracks very easy when its cold and gets very flexable when hot.
Please let us know how it works out.
Thank you, Fritz

Looks good... I'm also interested in how that material holds up- I've been thinking of different materials that could be used.

I'd REALLY like to get a copy of those patterns!
