at least it didn't do any mechanical damage (or even paint/body panels)
is he taking care of your truck for you?
No Russ, since it was considered an "incident" not a "collision," State Patrol didn't actively go looking for the guy. There's about a snowball's chance in hell they'll track the driver down. I'm not going to hold my breath at least, lol. The driver most likely didn't even know what happened until a few miles later, when the wheel presumably would have gotten so wobbly it would cause the trailer to sway. Again, I'm just thankful that nobody got hurt. The damage can be repaired. I have to admit, the worst part of the whole thing was trying to get the grease off the paint!

Comming through Montana the temp was 50ish-60ish. The rest of the states I traveled through were all 95-100. Psi dropped in my tires on my trailer. Had one blow drove for only god knows how far. Needless to say about the second person waving frantically at me I decided to pull over. Noticed my rim all sorts of jacked up and a thin band of rubber where a tire use to be. Never felt it.

I blew a sidewall on the shop equipment trailer, and sure felt that. Of course, I was off pavement on a gravel road, and the extra drag in the dirt was noticeable. Probably the only reason I noticed.
I admit I was very flustered when my truck got hit, but I don't blame the guy - it wasn't necessarily his fault. I was just hoping they would find him so he wouldn't lose control and hurt himself, anyone riding with him, or other drivers. But it's all over, everyone went home safe and that's the only thing that matters.
